Embassy of Ireland, ChișinăuHR-Consulting is recruiting on behalf of its client, the Embassy of Ireland in Chișinău, for the position of Consular Visa Officer. The role involves providing high-quality consular services and administrative support, including direct interaction with the public, processing visa applications, assisting Irish citizens, and managing the Embassy’s social media presence.Key Responsibilities:

Respond to public inquiries via telephone and email;
Deliver excellent customer service at the Embassy’s public office;
Receive and process visa applications for travel to Ireland, including advising applicants and liaising with HQ and the Department of Justice on any issues;
Provide consular assistance to Irish citizens and their families;
Assist in processing emergency travel documents;
Manage and update the Embassy’s social media accounts in coordination with the Deputy Head of Mission;
Support the Consul and perform other administrative or consular tasks as required;
Perform occasional translation and interpretation work;
Undertake other duties as directed by the Ambassador or Deputy Head of Mission.

Essential Requirements:

University degree, preferably in Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Communications/Media Studies, or Business Administration;
Previous professional experience in customer-facing roles;
Strong interpersonal skills with examples of teamwork, persuasion, and effective engagement with external organizations;
Demonstrated flexibility, efficiency, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure;
Fully trilingual in English, Romanian, and Russian;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
