The MEAL Coordinator oversees the design, implementation, and monitoring of the MEAL system at the country level, ensuring compliance with PIN policies and donor requirements. They develop MEAL tools, track project indicators, lead evaluations, and document lessons learned. Additionally, they produce analytical reports and manage beneficiary feedback and complaints, ensuring proper resolution and continuous improvement of MEAL activities.

Salary range – 34.590,00 - 36.840,00 MDL gross
Based on the assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and previous experience.

Education & Work Experience
Qualification:
- Master degree in social studies (e.g. sociology, statistics)/related fields
- Highly qualified MEAL specialist responsible for independently managing the full cycle of monitoring and evaluation activities, ensuring efficient resource use, adherence to standards and policies, and alignment with project goals, budget, and schedule.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in MEAL activities and 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the NGO/INGO sector with experience in civil society development or emergency programs; familiarity with donors like ECHO, EU, UN agencies, and CZDA, as well as capacity-building experience, is an advantage.
- Analytical skills, experience and ability in analysing and presenting data, but also reflective thinking, and being able to understand the stories behind the data.
- Report writing skills, being able to explain the insights, document field observations and information obtained through quantitative and qualitative methods and provide feedback to programme/project teams through clear reporting.
- Stakeholders engagement, communication skills and team work, ability to engage, manage and deal with different internal / external stakeholders.
- Technology and software related skills, ability to utilize computer packages and applications in data collection, data analysis, storage and dissemination.
- Creativity, ability to adapt approaches, tools and methods to different programmes, project and activities; ability to involve innovations in order to get buy in of stakeholders and users of the MEAL system.
- Availability, including ability to undertake regular field visits all over Moldova, if needed, few days in a row with overnight stays in different locations of Moldova.
- Excellent command of English, Romanian and Russian
