Location: Chișinău, Moldova | Full-time | On-site

About XY Partners:

About the Event:

TechVillage is a unique 3-day matchmaking unconference bringing together CEE startups and investors. The event fosters collaboration, investment opportunities, and innovation in the heart of Moldova’s countryside. The most recent TechVillage gathered startups and investors from 12 countries, leading to promising funding and potential partnerships.

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and visionary Project Manager to lead the organization and implementation of the TechVillage 2025 event. You will coordinate every aspect of the event, ensuring it provides value to all stakeholders while positioning TechVillage as a flagship event in the CEE entrepreneurial ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and organize the event, including activities, deadlines, venue, catering, transportation, accommodation, networking, workshops, panels, and budget management to ensure efficient execution.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for international event promotion and promotional materials while managing stakeholder relationships, including sponsors, vendors, and the internal team.
• Scout and select 40+ CEE startups and 40+ CEE investors, build relationships, and facilitate post-event communication to support deal-making.
• Continuously monitor results to meet deadlines, identify risks, collect feedback for improvement (NPS 80+), and prepare monthly and final event reports.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Coordinate logistics, including venue setup, participant transportation, accommodation, and catering.
• Communicate with donors, vendors, sponsors, startups, and investors to ensure alignment and engagement.
• Track and manage the event budget, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within financial constraints.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of promotional materials in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Collect feedback during and after the event, addressing issues promptly and preparing detailed reports.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in project management, event management or customer experience management.  
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, stakeholders and deadlines.
• Results-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to monitor and report on program performance and budget allocation.
• Fluency in Romanian and English; Russian is a plus.
