The Association of Film and Video Creators from Moldova is seeking a dynamic executive director. Our goal is to foster connections between creators, producers, the state, and viewers of national films, supporting a flourishing film and video production sector in Moldova.

Key Focus:

We are specifically looking for an individual with a strong background in management, leadership, and administration. Prior knowledge of the film industry is not required; we value curiosity, courage, and a strong desire to learn about film production.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the organization’s day-to-day operations, event coordination, and financial management.

Act as the main point of contact with members, media, and stakeholders.

Manage administrative tasks, human resources, and project implementation.

Work collaboratively with the board to strategize and execute organizational goals.

Requirements:

Proven experience in organizational management, leadership, and administration.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Strong financial management skills, including bookkeeping and oversight of billing cycles.

Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate events, and handle administrative tasks efficiently.

Proficient in human resource management, including the recruitment and supervision of personnel.

Skilled in maintaining and organizing company records and managing office inventory.

Technical proficiency with office equipment and troubleshooting.

Demonstrated the ability to implement strategies and oversee project development as guided by the board.

Strong ethics and integrity, with a focus on serving the collective interests of members and stakeholders.

Effective lobbying skills to advocate for the industry's interests.

Fluency in English and local languages, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
