Key areas of accountability
- Development of situation analysis or needs assessments, strategic planning, project design, proposal review, in line with child protection policies and strategies.
- Integrate, promote, facilitate mainstreaming and implementation of child protection approaches
- Participate in initiating and spreading innovative child and youth participation practices or models.
- Carry out child protection including good knowledge of Case Management.
- Facilitate child protection related capacity development initiatives
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the protection of children in Moldova.
- Participate in research on child protection, including focused on ensuring quality integration of child protection protocols, ethics and methodologies.
- Document child protection practices, share knowledge, lessons learned, promising practices, and research findings.
Qualifications and skills required:
Academic Qualifications:
- University degree in Law, Social science
- Lawyers license would be considered an advantage
Experience and knowledge:
- Previous work experience in the area would be considered as advantage
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word,
Competencies:
- Good analytical skills and good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under stress and in crisis situations.
- Cultural and gender awareness.
- Fluency in Romanian, Russian and English languages.
- Driver license.
