Acted (Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development) is an international NGO founded in 1993 and headquartered in Paris. Its activities range from emergency relief to development projects. With a team of 5,900 national staff and 400 international staff, Acted is active in 41 countries and implements more than 500 projects a year, reaching over 20 million beneficiaries. The unprecedented humanitarian disaster faced by the Ukrainians is taking a dramatic turn, and millions of people are displaced in various areas. Acted helps ensuring they can receive the basic support they need, including water, food and hot meals, blankets, hygiene supplies and access to mobile heating points.

Acted is looking for a Site management Officer to join our team.
The Site Management Officer is responsible for supporting the field activities according to the methodologies and guidelines provided by Acted, engaged in community engagement and project implementation and monitoring. The project aims to cover all accommodation centers in Moldova and the needs in the province/area, based on the government's needs. Technical experience with projects developed in Moldova is desirable or a direct link with the beneficiary population.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of the work plan and implementation schedules for the activities and the movement vehicle
- Assist the project manager and project officer in resolving unforeseen problems during project implementation.
- Establish trusting relationships with beneficiaries and RAC representatives, provide all necessary information to beneficiaries.
- Visit the RACs, collect information on the physical and moral condition of the beneficiaries, the needs of the beneficiaries and the RACs.
- Ensure that at all times, contacts with beneficiaries are conducted in a sensitive and respectful manner.
- Generate reports and requests for involvement of ACTED partners to cover needs
- Identifying opportunities for collaboration and coordination of efforts with other organizations to ensure that our activities build on - rather than duplicate - the work of others
- Evaluate activities undertaken and monitor the effective use of resources
- Conduct regular weekly field visits to provide technical advice and supervision, and to regularly monitor the progress of activities.
- Provide regular and timely updates on progress and challenges to the Project Manager and other team members.
- Support the Senior Project Officer and Project Manager in the preparation of progress and final reports, ensuring the quality and accuracy of technical information related to activities.
- Facilitate the collection of requirements and distribution of appliances as well as procurement of logistics related documents.
- Respond and redirect when minor issues arise. Inform the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager if the case is urgent without delay.
- Complete and update the database daily to ensure that it is kept up to date.
- Represent ACTED and be the focal point for the RAC Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school graduation.
- Good English language.
- Good computer knowledge.
- Experience in any NGOs or Governmental offices in this field. (it’s welcoming)
- Languages to speak: Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian and English

The selection procedure consists of the following steps:

2. CV-analyzing the resumes based on the vacancy requirements.
3. Formation of a list of potential candidates, based on the score after CV-analysis.
4. Pre-interview by phone (just to clarify some details).
5. Invitation of candidates with a sufficiently high score after CV-analysis to a written test (if provided).
6. Notification of the test results (within 1 - 1.5 weeks) and if the test is passed successfully invitation for an interview.
7. After the interview, sending a decision on the candidate (positive or negative), takes 1-1.5 weeks
