Nature of Consultancy: Consultancy to support the Republic of Moldova component of a multi-country case study on the Opportunities and Challenges to Engage Diaspora in Climate Action

IOM is seeking to contract the services of a national consultant who will draft an analytical report focusing on both the opportunities and challenges of engaging the Moldovan diaspora in climate action in their country of origin. The consultant will consolidate and analyse existing evidence on diaspora with a special focus on the perceptions, experiences, and challenges faced by the diaspora in the UK to engage in climate-related actions in Moldova, climate change-related policy frameworks in Moldova, and diaspora-related policy frameworks in Moldova.
The consultancy is financed by IOM Development Fund (IDF) within the “Diaspora for Climate Action (D4C): Leveraging the Potential of Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change through Diaspora Engagement in Bangladesh, Ghana, Jamaica and Moldova,” project implemented by IOM in the UK, in partnership with IOM country offices in Bangladesh, Ghana, Jamaica and Moldova.
The aim of the consultancy is to support the Republic of Moldova component of a multi-country case study on the Opportunities and Challenges to Engage Diaspora in Climate Action.
