UNICEF Moldova: Education Specialist, NO-C (FT)_for Moldova nationals only

UNICEF Moldova is hiring an Education Specialist, at NO-C level, to support the development and preparation of the Education and be responsible for managing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting the progress of education programmes/projects within the country programme.

Qualifications and experience: 

  • An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: education, economics, psychology, sociology, or another relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience in programme planning, management, and/or research in education is required.
  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
  • Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset. Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
  • Fluency in Romanian and working knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
