Task description
Online Volunteer will identify contacts or organizations, communities and media that may be interested to collaborate with the UN Volunteers programme in Moldova, and will reach out to them by cell phone/skype for further organizational steps (meetings, webinars, publications). Basically, Online Volunteer will be bridging the regional office's UNV staff and selected organizations, media, and other outlets localized in the country. It also will include writing, messaging, and calling communities and groups that exist on social media. Online Volunteers who are located in Moldova are strongly encouraged to apply because it is expected to conduct phone calls with the identified partners and media contacts.
Requirements
Communications skills; Research; Reporting; Excel; Time management. Project management; Experience in the development sector in the country (NGOs) is a plus.
Languages
Romanian, Level: Mother's tongue, Required English, Level: Working knowledge, Desirable
