The Public Association “Law Centre of Advocates” is looking for qualified persons for Border monitor position to support the “Legal assistance to refugees, asylum-seekers and stateless persons in Moldova” projects.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Key areas of accountability

- Border monitoring and legal counselling for the north, south, south-east border of Republic of Moldova

- Assist all persons of concern ensuring timely high-quality protection information, counseling, assistance.

Qualifications and skills required:

Academic Qualifications:

• University degree, preferably in international law or human rights law.
• Lawyer license would be considered an advantage

Experience and knowledge:

• Previous work experience in the area would be considered as advantage
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, use of databases

Competencies:

• Good analytical skills and good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under stress and in crisis situations.
• Cultural and gender awareness.
• Fluency in Romanian, Russian and English languages.
• Driver license.
