The Deputy Field Coordinator assists the Field Coordinator in external representation, program coordination, and strategy preparation for Solidarités International in each intervention area. They also ensure coordination with other humanitarian participants, team management, and security and humanitarian monitoring.

These tasks entail strict confidentiality on the part of the Deputy Field Coordinator.

Starting date:            ASAP

Type of contract:      Employee Fixed-Term contract, full-time

Duration:                   6 months, renewable

Duty Station:             Chisinau

Gross Salary:             27,000 MDL per month

List of main tasks:

• Establish informal ties and a network of contacts enabling the collection and verification of diverse information, security report and security briefing of new employees.
• Under delegation of the Field Coordinator, represent Solidarités International during humanitarian and security coordination meetings, promote Solidarités International messages.
• Communicate with other NGOs and regularly visit Solidarités International’s intervention sites to ensure a coordinated humanitarian response.
• Participate in the drafting of Solidarités International’s intervention strategy in Moldova.
• Monitor the activities implemented in Solidarités International intervention sites, and produce an analysis of the evaluation, intervention, and monitoring reports.

PROFILE OF THE CANDIDATE / REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of the Moldovan context and good connections with local authorities required.
• Previous experience with NGO/INGOs valued.
• Availability to work full time (from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm) for a minimum of 3 months required.
• Language: Romanian, Russian and English mandatory. Ukrainian is a plus.
