ICT Specialist 2 manages and organizes all ICT systems and services in the location where s/he is posted. S/he assists the ICT Manager in designing and installing ICT infrastructure.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ICT Activities (100%)

• Independently installs, maintains, repairs and monitors ICT equipment in line with ICRC standards.
• Ensures existing ICT infrastructure is functional.
• Briefs, advises and trains end-users and peers on the ICRC's ICT systems.
• Ensures inventory is updated as per procedures and carries out regular physical checks.
• Drafts and updates technical documentation for all IT equipment.
• Provides day-to-day technical support to end-users of desktop applications, telephones, printers, computers or any other ICT standard equipment.
• Maintains contacts with suppliers/providers and follows ICRC logistics and ICT procedures.

Skills you need:

• IT Specialist skills and qualifications.
• Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Good organization, time management and prioritization.
• Bachelor's or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or another related field.
• Languages: Romanian C1, Russian C1, English B2.
• Driving licence.
