UNICEF Moldova is seeking to hire a Health Officer, NO-A to oversee the implementation of programme components of the EU4Moldova Focal Regions Programme related to Health and Protection (creches) in both focal regions, to work with LPAs and support sector specific awareness related activities.
Qualifications and experience:
A university degree in one of the following fields is required: public health/nutrition, family health, global/international health, health policy and/or management, environmental health sciences, biostatistics, socio-medical, health education, health promotion and social marketing, epidemiology, social sciences, or another relevant technical field.
Education in public health related field will be an asset.
A minimum of one year of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public health/nutrition, planning and management in health, child and adolescent health care, or health emergency/humanitarian preparedness.
Experience working in coordination and implementation of EU project is considered as an asset.
Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
Fluency in Romanian and working knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of Russian or additional languages relevant for Moldova would be an asset.
