We are looking for a responsible Assistant Manager to help organise and run a media agency and fill in for the Manager when needed. Your job will be highly important in ensuring the project team meets its goals of efficiency and client satisfaction.Assistant Manager responsibilities include hiring and training project team members in media industry, monitoring inventory and ordering items based on demand. Our ideal candidate will have project management skills with a sharp business mindset. You should also be skilled at organizing and solving problems. Interpersonal and mediation skills will also be very useful, since you’ll often be acting as a liaison between manager, team members and clients.Ultimately, the duties of the Assistant Manager are to make sure the business operates effectively, and that we keep our clients happy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract clients
- Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
- Monitor and maintain inventory
- Evaluate team performance and identify hiring and training needs
- Supervise and motivate team members to perform their best
- Support new and existing team members
- Monitor business operating costs, budgets and resources
- Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
- Handle complaints from clients
- Create reports, analyse and interpret retail data, like revenues, expenses and competition
- Act as business representative and set an example for the team
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Assistant Manager or similar position
- Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
- Good math skills with the ability to create and analyse reports, spreadsheets and statistics
- Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Superior education in Business Administration or relevant field; master is a plus
- Fluency in English, Romanian and Russian language
