The Charity Centre for Refugees, partner of the UNHCR, is hiring a fundraising and capacity-building specialist for the project “Community services development for refugees and asylum-seekers in Moldova 2022”.

General purpose:

The holder of this position will design and implement a strategy to expand CCR sources of financial support. 

Specific duties:

• to develop and implement and an annual fundraising plan for the organization’s existing programs;
• to search for calls for proposals and apply for grants based on CCR’s overall and specific goals;
• to maintain communication with potential national and international donors to identify open calls, donations in kind, etc.;
• to elaborate and implement a communication strategy with partners, donors, stakeholders, counterparts and locals;
• to ensure CCR visibility by administering organization’s web page, Facebook page, YouTube channel, accounts on patreon.com, twitter and other platforms;
• to reflect on social media and online the events organized (i.e. international and local celebrations, exhibitions, distribution of humanitarian assistance, etc.) and ensure media coverage of important events;
• to maintain communication with mass media and ensure accurate information is reflected in press;
• to coordinate the volunteering program and monitor the implementation of the volunteer’s activity plan (ESC volunteers, local and refugee community volunteers);
• to assess the needs of CCR staff and compile training courses on CCR and donors’ policies and provide these trainings;
• to perform and submit monthly, mid-year and annual reports to CCR Project Coordinator.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

• knowledge of UNHCR regulations;
• good written and oral communication skills;
• good interpersonal and computer skills;
• ability to work efficiently and accurately;
• ability to work in team and independently;
• organizational skills;
• ability to work in-doors and out-doors.

Education and professional training

Higher Education

Experience:

3 years of experience in fundraising, capacity-building or project management

Language skills:

English, Russian, Romanian 

Period of contract:

From 01.01.2022 till 31.12.2022

Work conditions:

• full-time position (8 hours/day)
• common workplace with other employees
• access to equipment (phone, printer, smart desk, etc.)
