UNICEF Moldova is hiring a Health Officer, NO-A to support the Country Office (CO) with professional technical assistance on maintaining continuity of services for pregnant women, children and adolescents in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, including through outreach, Infection Prevention and Control, telemedicine and support to COVID-19 vaccination of adolescents.
Qualifications and experience
- A university degree in one of the following fields is required: public health/nutrition, pediatric health, family health, health research, global/international health, health policy and/or management, environmental health sciences, biostatistics, socio-medical, health education, epidemiology, or another relevant technical field.
- A minimum of one year of professional experience in one or more of the following: public health/nutrition planning and management areas is required, immunization, adolescent health maternal and health emergency/humanitarian preparedness.
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
- Fluency in Romanian and working knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of Russian, another official UN language or another local language is a strong asset.
