It is an incredibly exciting time, and Avencia Digital is looking for an extra mid-level NET Software Engineer Cryptocurrency Aggregator to go on that journey with us.

Avencia Digital Ltd is a Crypto Exchange and Fintech firm based in London in the process of rolling out our Trading Platform with plans for expansion.

This role is suitable for a mid-level .NET developer who has already gained some enterprise experience through previous roles and has a solid understanding of C#, .NET 5, Blazor, Azure, HTML5, CSS3, agile programming methodologies, and the importance of proper test suites. 

This is a great opportunity for engineers who want to take the next step towards a leading role, with the possibility of taking on more responsibilities every day, and for those aspiring to break into the cryptocurrency space.

Avencia Digital aggregates dozens of cryptocurrency liquidity providers to offer our clients the best rates across the entire market in real-time. You’ll be working with our tech lead to design, implement, test, maintain, and monitor our green field cryptocurrency aggregator platform, including: 

• New liquidity provider integrations to increase the spread of our offer 
• New fiat provider integrations to increase our clients’ options 
• A new fully automated KYC integration for both our corporate as well as private clients 
• Expanding upon our integration with Fireblocks, a cryptocurrency custodian 
• Improvements to the user interface following feedback as adoption increases 
• Maintaining our corporate website as per requests from the business side 
• And many more exciting projects in our near future involving crypto ATMs 

Role requirements:

• You will have a deep understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency protocols
• You will have strong knowledge of market structures and exchange related concepts
• You will write very high quality, well-tested code
• You will have 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Demonstrated ability to establish relationships, credibility, present, and to communicate effectively at all levels of an organisation
• Ability to set priorities, drive decisions and get closure on recommendations and issues
• Ability to influence others towards continuous improvement, both internally and externally
• Experience successfully managing customer engagements to completion
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to work well in an international and multicultural environment
• Self-driven, results-oriented and team player
• Prior experience working in a product-led start-up environment
• Strong pro-active communicator with a natural tendency to “do” and experiment
• Fluency in English is a must
