- The Republic of Moldova has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Moldova’s Disaster Risk Management and Resilience Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Procurement of Special Vehicles.
- The State Hydrometeorological Service under the Ministry of Environment now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for supply 4 lots of Special Vehicles to designated site in total quantity of 6 units as follows:
Lot 1 - 4-door Off-Road Vehicle with bed – 2 units
Lot 2 – SUV – 2 units
Lot 3 - Minibus-style Van – 1 unit
Lot 4 - Tipper Truck – 1 unit
Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bids for each lot must be complete. Evaluation of bids will be done on a per-lot basis.
3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Office for External Assistance Programs Management/PIU, ogpae@ogpae.gov.md and inspect the bidding document during office hours 08.30 to 17.30 at the address given below.
5. The bidding document in English may be obtained by interested Bidders free of charge upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by e-mail.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address 57/1 Mitropolitul Banulescu Bodoni str., office 304, MD-2005, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova before 17.00 of October 7, 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address: State Hydrometeorological Service, 134 Grenoble Street, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova on 10.00 of October 8, 2025.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security for each lot separately depending on the lot for which the bid is submitted. The amount of Bid Security required for each lot is listed below.
Lot 1 – 655.00 Euro or an equivalent amount of 12 800.0 MDL
Lot 2 – 330.00 Euro or an equivalent amount of 6 400.0 MDL
Lot 3 – 390.00 Euro or an equivalent amount of 7 600.0 MDL
Lot 4 – 390.00 Euro or an equivalent amount of 7 600.0 MDL
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
