Tender no. 83471159 Provision of in-country transportation services for project activities on demand
The German Development Cooperation through GIZ is looking for a company able to provide professional transportation services for project activities on demand within the Republic of Moldova, within its “Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova” project.
For the Terms of Reference and eventual questions, please address a message to the e-mail: tenders-giz-moldova@giz.de, indicating the tender number in the message title, no later than August 22, 2024.
The transportation company is expected to provide in-country transportation services to various locations, including but not limited to Edinet, Straseni, Leova, Comrat, and Soroca. The following types of transportation means will be requested:
- car for up to 3 – 4 passengers
- minivan for up to 5 – 7 passengers
- minivan for up to 8 – 12 passengers
- minibus for up to 15 – 20 passengers
- bus for up to 30 – 40 passengers.
The transportation company shall assume full responsibility for the following aspects:
- High quality and punctuality of delivered services.
- Adequate hygiene conditions in the vehicles.
- Adequate technical condition of the vehicles.
- Safe and secure transfer of passengers under any road conditions.
- Client-oriented service and attitude.
- Guaranteed confidentiality and data protection of information obtained during trips.
The tender is open to private companies, resident in the Republic of Moldova, established and operating in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova. For a consortium, a cooperation agreement should be included in the technical offer.
Offers must be prepared in English or Romanian.
Proposals must be submitted in two parts, consisting of:
- Part 1: Technical offer, which should describe in detail how the Offeror intends to carry out the Term of Reference (ToR) for the development of requested deliverables
- Part 2: Financial offer, detailed budget expressed in Moldovan Lei, VAT 0.
Based on the ratio of 70% for the technical offer and 30% for the financial offer, the bid evaluation will be performed.

Applications shall be delivered in sealed envelopes (physical form), showing the tender number (83471159) and subject on it, to the address of GIZ Office Chisinau (73/1, Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Boulevard, NBC building; 9th floor, Chisinau) not later than 26.08.2024 time 15:00.
Please note that applications received after the deadline, as well as incomplete applications, will not be considered. Financial offers containing other currency than Moldovan Lei, will not be considered. GIZ retains the discretion to re-advertise or cancel this tender.
