Call for Proposals:

 

The Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR) is looking for a videographer based in Chisinau to capture, edit and produce a 2-3 minute video, covering a two-day conference for the Building Resilience in the Eastern Neighbourhood (BREN) project.

About the Call

 

The call is part of IWPR’s Building Resilience in the Eastern Neighbourhood (BREN) programme implemented in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova. BREN supports civil society and women’s rights organisations in the Eastern Neighbourhood countries.

 

The BREN project, delivered by IWPR in partnership with the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP), is designed to build the resilience of civil society organisations (CSOs) to promote human security, peace and stability in the Eastern Neighbourhood countries, focused on women and other marginalised groups.

 

IWPR is organising a 2-day in-person regional conference under the BREN project, bringing together representatives of partner organisations from the four countries in Chisinau, Moldova. The 2-day conference will include many activities such as panel discussions, networking activities , keynote speeches and training sessions. 

 

The videographer will capture footage from the various activities and produce a 2-3-minute video about the 2-day conference. The focus should include conference sessions, networking moments, socializing, a few words from participants, attendees, IWPR staff and the overall atmosphere.

 

Scope of work:

 

  • Preliminary meeting with IWPR to discuss the plan, vision and approach for the video.
  • Capture footage on site of keynote sessions, panel discussions, networking and any other significant conference activities. 
  • Record networking events, social gatherings, and any informal interactions among participants.
  • Showcase the overall atmosphere and ambiance of the conference venue, emphasizing the professional and social aspects.
  • Capture short messages from key attendees, participants and speakers. 

 

Deliverable:

  • A first draft of the 2-3 minute video professionally edited that encapsulates the essence of the conference, emphasizing key activities, networking, socializing, and ambiance.
  • A second draft based on shared feedback from IWPR.
  • Submit the final video within two weeks after the conference concludes.

 

Note: The videographer should possess high-quality equipment capable of capturing clear audio and video in various conference settings.

Proposed period and duration of consultancy

The duration of the project is February 19 - March 6.  (On-site filming February 19-20, 2024. Editing for the remainder of the period from February 21-March 6, 2024).



Application Process:

Applicants should submit the following documents  by no later than February 5th 2024 to jkanaan@iwpr.net 

 

  • Proposal narrative. Proposals should include a work plan, timeline and a concept or creative vision.
  • Budget with fees and costs itemized. Quotations in response to this request must be priced on a fixed-price, all-inclusive basis, including taxes, delivery and all other costs. Pricing must be presented in Euros.
  • CV and portfolio of the videographer and/or editor

Evaluation and Award

The award will be made to a responsible offeror whose offer follows the instructions, meets the eligibility requirements, and is determined via a trade-off analysis to be the best value based on application of the following criteria. Proposals will be evaluated based on the criteria below.

 

  • Organisational/individual capacity and experience – 30 points 
  • Project Delivery – 40 points: (Responsiveness to the technical specifications and requirements)
  • Price – 30 points: (The overall cost presented in the offer; best value.)
