USAID Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Activity (RCRA) is a USAID program implemented by Chemonics International in Republic of Moldova. The goal of the RCRA is to stimulate a sustainable and inclusive recovery from the regional crisis brought on by the latest Russian invasion of Ukraine and accelerate an inclusive, climate-resilient economic development of rural Moldova by protecting the development gains made with USAID support over the past decade and further stimulate the competitiveness of key economic sectors, including the wine industry, high-value agriculture, and tourism.

As part of the project activities, RCRA project requires the purchase of Drones and IT Equipment as in-kind procurement within the Grant Agreement with Belii Most.

The purpose of this RFQ is to receive quotations from eligible Vendors for the required equipment according to the described technical specifications.

Companies are encouraged to submit their offer as per the attached RfQ.

Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their offers are received by Chemonics in accordance with the instructions, terms, and conditions described in this RFQ.  Failure to adhere with instructions described in this RFQ may lead to disqualification of an offer from consideration.

Extended deadline for Offer Submission Deadline: Offers must be received no later than 18:00 local Chisinau time on December 27, 2023, by email. Any emailed offers must be emailed to MDA-RCRA-Procurement@chemonics.md.

Questions: Questions regarding the technical or administrative requirements of this RFQ may be submitted no later than 18:00 local Chisinau time on December 20, 2023, by email to MDA-RCRA-Procurement@chemonics.md. Questions must be submitted in writing; phone calls will not be accepted. Questions and requests for clarification—and the responses thereto—that Chemonics believes may be of interest to other offerors will be circulated to all RFQ recipients who have indicated an interest in bidding.

Only the written answers issued by Chemonics will be considered official and carry weight in the RFQ process and subsequent evaluation. Any verbal information received from employees of Chemonics or any other entity should not be considered as an official response to any questions regarding this RFQ.
