RfB: Procurement of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Systems (2 lots)
-The Government of the Republic of Moldova has received financing from the World Bank
(Bank) toward the cost of the Moldova Emergency COVID-19 Response Project – Additional
Financing and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for
Procurement of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Systems.
-The Ministry of Health now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for procurement of:
LOT No.I: 2 (two) 3 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanners
LOT No.II: 2 (two) 1,5 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanners
The equipment must be delivered to the Republic of Moldova within a maximum of 4 months from the date of contract signature
- Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request
for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF
Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement
Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

The bidding document in English language may be obtained by interested Bidders upon the
submission of a written application to the e-mail address below. The document will be sent by
e-mail in .pdf format.
⚠️ Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 12th, 2023, 11:00 hrs. (local time). Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on October 12th, 2023, 11:00 hrs. All bids must be accompanied by a bid-securing declaration.
