USAID Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Activity (RCRA) is a USAID program implemented by Chemonics International in the Republic of Moldova.

RCRA requires the purchase of as-needed translation and interpretation services for RCRA to facilitate written translation/proofreading of documents and simultaneous/consecutive interpretation from/to Romanian, English and Russian languages at events and/or meetings upon request.

The purpose of this RFQ is to receive quotations for translation and interpretation services. Companies as well as individual translators are encouraged to submit their offer as per the issued RfQ. The submitted offer by the individual translator should specify for which languages it refers to (ex: translation of Rom-Eng-Rom; Rus-Eng-Rus, Rom-Rus-Rom, or all)

Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their offers are received by Chemonics in accordance with the instructions, terms, and conditions described in this RFQ. Failure to adhere with instructions described in this RFQ may lead to disqualification of an offer from consideration.

Offer Submission Deadline: Offers must be received no later than 17:00 local Chisinau (GMT+2:00) time on February 2, 2023 by email to MDA-RCRA-Procurement@chemonics.md.

Questions: Questions regarding the technical or administrative requirements of this RFQ may be submitted no later than 17:00 local Chisinau (GMT+2:00) time on January 27, 2023 by email to MDA-RCRA-Procurement@chemonics.md. Questions must be submitted in writing; phone calls will not be accepted. Questions and requests for clarification—and the responses thereto—that Chemonics believes may be of interest to other offerors will be circulated to all RFQ recipients who have indicated an interest in bidding.
