Air ticket procurement services

Background:

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) awarded Dexis with the "Exploratory Pilot and Learning Options for Regional Efficiency” (EXPLORE) Europe Task Order. As a part of this Task Order, USAID/OTI aims to support Moldova through the Moldova Resilience Initiative (MRI), a 12-month engagement started in April 2022.

SOW Objective:

The selected firm will provide international air tickets procurement, providing several options and check-in of passengers as needed. Tickets booking may arise with short notice, requiring quick and timely responses from the air ticket travel agency.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Air Travel Management

• Based on written request, vendor will provide itinerary options to MRI based on price, duration, and number of stops.
• The travel agency will process duly authorized flight changes/cancellations as and when required, and maintain MRI informed of changes outside the travel agency’s control.

Reporting:

The Vendor will report to the Operations Manager or their designee.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Be duly incorporated in accordance with the regulations of the Republic of Moldova.
• Maintains a good track record in serving international organizations, embassies and multinational corporations; list of corporate clients should be provided.
• Employs competent and experienced air tickets consultants, especially in providing alternatives routs and flight connections.
• Able to provide assign air ticket manager to be in contact with the Operations Manager or their designer when needed.

Offerors shall provide a fixed % as of their fee for air tickets procurement.
