Request for Quotations (RFQ): RFQ-2021-036-Mod 1 Procurement of IT equipment for the endowment of the Digital Media Production Center (Mediacor)

The Moldova Competitiveness Project (MCP) is a program funded by USAID, Sweden and UK aid and implemented by Chemonics International in Moldova. The project aims to support the strategy of the Government of the Republic of Moldova for export-oriented growth and investment. The Project will support local capacity building, entrepreneurship, market links, competitiveness, innovation and growth in key industries for the Project - wine and tourism, information and communication technologies (ICT), and light industry.

One of the objectives of the MCP is to enhance the economic competitiveness in Moldova by developing skills in the IT and creative services industries by developing the labor force and entrepreneurship. Under this objective, the Project aims to create a Digital Media Production Center (hereinafter "Center") within the State University of Moldova.

The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit quotations for IT Equipment for datacenter and internal LAN and Wi-Fi networks that will be installed at the Mediacor premises.

Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their offers are received by Chemonics in accordance with the instructions, terms, and conditions described in this RFQ.  Failure to adhere with instructions described in this RFQ may lead to disqualification of an offer from consideration.

Offer Deadline and Protocol: Offers must be received no later than 16.00 local Chisinau time on June 30, 2021 by email at procurement@chemonics.md. 

Please reference the RFQ number in any response to this RFQ. Offers received after the specified time and date will be considered late and will be considered only at the discretion of Chemonics.

Questions: Questions regarding the technical or administrative requirements of this RFQ may be submitted no later than 17.00 local Chisinau time on June 29, 2021 by email to procurement@chemonics.md. Questions must be submitted in writing; phone calls will not be accepted. Questions and requests for clarification—and the responses thereto—that Chemonics believes may be of interest to other offerors will be circulated to all RFQ recipients who have indicated an interest in bidding.
