Clean Air Poster Contest

School educators and students are invited to submit a creative poster that brings to light the solutions to air pollution and climate change and inspires people to take action to improve our region’s air quality.

Some example topics include but are not limited to:

  • Health effects of air pollution,

  • Alternatives to fossil fuels to reduce air pollution,

  • Ways to reduce ground-level ozone and air pollutants,

  • Increasing energy efficiency to combat climate change,

  • Alternative transportation such as biking to work, teleworking, etc,

  • “Green Jobs” related to air quality and climate change.

Posters must be original designs created by the student and illustrate the messages rather than write them. Those who will create a striking slogan will get extra points!

Take a photo or scan your poster and submit it to the email: aheventsmanager@gmail.com In the subject line: Clean Air Poster Contest. Besides the poster, don’t forget to write your school, class, or student’s name and a short description of the submitted work.

The purpose of the poster contest is to engage students and educators to study and actively pursue solutions to air pollution and climate change.

There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner selected. All of the posters will be posted on our website and social media pages.

Good luck!
