Position: Consultant on Roma history and traditions
Duty Station: Chisinau

Service contract for 4 trainings

Remuneration level: 6 400,00 gross per training

Deadline date for application: 03.07.2024 16.00PM.

The Consultant and Trainer on Roma History will be responsible for delivering trainings, workshops and/or seminars to target groups identified by the employer on Roma history, culture and traditions. The consultant and trainer will create a calendar of trainings, workshops and seminars to be delivered until the end of the year to local health services providers, overall improving their knowledge on specific subjects pertaining to the Roma history, thus increasing their awareness to the issues faced currently by Roma people and ways to overcome them and improving the quality of the services provided to the Roma community members. S/he will develop and/or provide learning materials for the people attending the training, will gather feedback and provide recommendations to the employer on further educational activities to be implemented.

Tasks:

  • Development of trainings/workshops/seminars calendar, based on the requests;
  • Deliver trainings/workshops/seminars on Roma history, culture, traditions according to the calendar developed, implementing Intersos procedures for evaluation of the impact of the sessions;
  • Develop and/or provide learning materials to the attendees of the trainings;
  • Collect feedback from the attendees;
  • Provide recommendations on possible further instructive activities with the target group identified;

Education

  • University degree in history

Professional Experience

  • At least 3-year relevant work experience

Professional Requirements

  • Essential computer literacy (word, excel, powerpoint and internet)
  • Experience in training delivery on Roma history and cultural aspects
  • Ability to create learning materials
