The IT Academy program at DevelopmentAid is made up for early-in-career professionals interested to launch into IT and build a career in Web Development. This is a great opportunity for IT beginners to fully immerse themselves into a real company with real IT processes.

Start Date: September 6th 

This is a comprehensive 9-months long program comprised of 2 stages and followed by possible employment for those achieving the best results. 

1 stage – Bootcamp
IT enthusiasts will first pass through a 6-month Bootcamp at DevelopmentAid. At this stage, we will provide you with materials to study and specific exercises to solve, followed by interactive lessons with our mentors, senior web developers from our company.

2 stage – Internship
The best performers of the Bootcamp will receive recommendations for an Internship at DevelopmentAid or other IT company from the network, where they can further expand their knowledge and master programming and coding skills by resolving real-life projects and tasks.

After this course you will learn:

• Basics of PHP, OOP, and Laravel Framework
• JavaScript and VueJS
• Relational databases
• How to build a web application using Laravel framework and VueJS
• To use GIT in your daily basis activity and be familiar with Git flow, usually used in development teams
• Docker and how to build your application and maintain the working environment with docker-compose
• To work in a team environment.

Requirements:

• University studies (preferably in the graduation year) or other studies in IT
• IT/Web development passion and interest
• Desire to build a career in Web Application Development
• Good knowledge of the English language
