Supporting Women Entrepreneurs to Counter Dangerous Migration

HERA France Association announces our 16th International Grants Competition for women entrepreneurs from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

Any woman entrepreneur from one of these four countries, may apply for funding to buy equipment or to support other capital development costs. The entrepreneur should demonstrate how a HERA grant will provide vital products and/or services to your community, create new employment opportunities for young women, and help to grow your business. Innovative ventures offering new products and services are particularly
encouraged to apply.

Subject to funding, grants averaging €700 (and ranging between €500 - €1000) will be offered to selected women entrepreneurs, who fit one or more of the following three categories:

1. Established business owners willing to train and/or employ young women, who are without work or other means of economic support;
2. Young entrepreneurs who migrated, returned, and/or have organized promising ventures that have operated for at least six months; and
3. Social entrepreneurs whose operations demonstrably increase young women’s employment, well-being, and livelihoods.

The HERA Competition closes at midnight on Friday, May 2nd. The preliminary selection of finalists will be completed by May 30th.

Onsite and online assessments and awards will then be made from June through the end of September.
