Dear book lovers, on October 29, at 4.30 PM, America House Chisinau invites you to the monthly book club meeting.

This month we will discover ”Fahrenheit 451” a novel by American writer Ray Bradbury.

Ray Bradbury's masterpiece, Fahrenheit 415, is a classic of world literature. Set in a dystopian future, the book warns about the dangers of over-censorship and neglecting reality in favor of technology.

Although published in 1953 during the Cold War, the novel’s message is still relevant today. Bradbury believes that human society can easily become oppressive — unless it changes its present tendency toward the suppression of an individual's innate rights.
