The Role: Program Manager

We are looking for a disciplined Program Manager who can navigate complex timelines with precision and enjoys working directly with entrepreneurs, startup founders and researchers, helping them move from idea to market.

You will be the engine of our flagship events and the person our founders and researchers rely on throughout their journey with Technovator. This is a full-time position reporting to the COO and CEO, designed for someone who thrives on operational execution and sees challenges as opportunities to reinvent.

Your Strategic Scope of Work

1. Project Excellence & Execution (60%)

• Project Management & Execution: Manage the operational delivery of flagship initiatives (DeepTech GigaHack, Business Innovation Summit, Startup Tracks) in close collaboration with the COO. You will focus on the execution phase while supporting the COO in maintaining the institutional "story record" and continuity of these major events.

• Operational Discipline: Use PM tools (Asana) to define tasks, respect deadlines, and maintain a real-time dashboard of project health.

• Standardization: Develop and maintain the functional folders, standardizing our methodologies, dashboards, curriculum, and event execution to ensure consistent high quality.

• Impact Reporting: Collect data and feedback to create comprehensive reports that showcase our tangible results to donors and stakeholders.

2. Entrepreneur, Startup & Researcher Programs (40%)

• Program Delivery: Coordinate our support programs for founders and researchers, including the MDIP incubator, the DeepTech Academy, the DeepTech Mentorship Program and new cohorts as they launch: calls for applications, selection, cohort calendars, sessions and demo days.

• Participant Journey: Act as the main point of contact for startups, entrepreneurs and research teams. Track their progress, milestones and needs, and connect them with the right mentors, experts, investors and resources.

• Mentors & Experts Network: Build and manage our pool of mentors, trainers and industry experts; match them with participants and keep them engaged across programs.

• Research-to-Market Support: Work with our Technology Transfer Office to identify promising research teams in universities and research institutes and guide them into our incubation and acceleration pathways.

• Pipeline & CRM: Maintain a structured database of applicants, alumni and mentors (funnels, follow-ups, interaction history) so we can measure outcomes and keep alumni connected to the ecosystem.

• Program Content & Materials: Prepare curricula, onboarding kits, application forms, presentations and program reports tailored to founders, researchers and funders.

What Makes You a Technovator?

• The Mindset: You are curious, resilient, and proactive. You don't wait for solutions; you explore them.

• The Experience: You have 2-4 years of experience in project management, startup support (incubation, acceleration, mentoring programs), or community building within the tech/innovation sector. Experience working with researchers or universities is a plus.

• The Tools: You are a "digital native" comfortable with CRM systems, PM tools (Asana), and AI-driven productivity software.

• The Language: Excellent communication skills in Romanian and English (written and spoken) are essential.

• The Speed: You have the capacity to provide instant presentations, tables, and documents, ensuring high-quality professional delivery even under tight deadlines.

• People Skills: You enjoy working with founders and scientists, can give structured feedback and keep a cohort motivated.

• Deeptech Interest: While you don't need to be a scientist, you must have the ability to understand and translate complex tech trends into business value.
