National Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Expert works under the overall guidance and supervision of the Project Manager, direct supervision of the National Project Coordinator and in close cooperation with the project team in the field and HQ. National MEAL Expert is responsible for developing a comprehensive MEAL system enabling the project to demonstrate the impact of its response ensuring greater accountability. National MEAL Expert ensures data quality management and data analysis, development and use of different qualitative and quantitative methods, knowledge management, capacity building and training, e.g. (M&E framework design and planning, data collection and management, accountability, evaluation, learning). S/he will also contribute to building a constructive learning environment at all project levels, promoting good practices and key recommendations for ensuring sustainability, lessons learned and ideas for future interventions. National MEAL Expert reports directly to the Project Manager for all administrative issues.
