The Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC) is seeking a highly motivated Program Officer to successfully and effectively lead the implementation of an anticipated FSVC technical assistance program in Moldova. The 24-month program would be funded by the US Department of State, and focused on enhancing national assets recovery in Moldova. Program activities would help build the capacity of the Government of Moldova in detecting, confiscating and managing assets obtained through criminal means, to help fight financial crimes and combat corruption. FSVC is at the proposal submission stage for this program.

About FSVC: FSVC is a not-for-profit organization that helps build the sound financial and governance systems needed to support healthy market-oriented economies in developing countries. Founded in 1990 at the US Presidential Initiative, FSVC has conducted 3,800 technical assistance missions in 70 countries. Among other areas of work, FSVC has worked with governments on asset recovery, anti-corruption and combating money laundering/terrorism financing issues across Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia to improve accountability and transparency. FSVC has regional field offices in Albania, Angola, Eswatini, the DRC, Georgia, Iraq, Kenya, Lesotho, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Tajikistan and Tunisia.
