I. Organizational context
CDA is a public association, a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit association registered at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova on 24 February 1997.
CDA is looking for a qualified person for the vacant position of the child protection specialist for the Implementation Unit within the Ministry of Labor Social Protection and Family. This is a full - time (100%) until 31 December 2022, subject to further extension based on good performance.
II. Responsibilities
1) Record of persons responsible for refugees at local/territorial/national level.
2) Informing LPAs with news on accessing services and needs for refugees.
3) Cooperation with local and territorial public authorities, the persons responsible for refugees at the district level in the context of the Record of Placement Centers for refugees and families that have refugees in foster care;
4) Identification of material and social needs, including by categories of beneficiaries, at the local and territorial level;
5) Determination of cases to ensure material and social needs;
6) Working with professional consultants in order to solve situations, problems according to the fields of competence;
7) Ensures the examination of requests received in the context of the needs of local and territorial public authorities;
8) Elaboration of reports, informative notes and other requested information;
9) Monitoring the implementation of policy documents and the normative framework in the field of the protection of children's rights, especially of unaccompanied refugee / identified children without legal representatives.
10) Granting methodological support to guardianship authorities and providers of assistance and child protection services regarding the implementation of policies and the application of the legal framework in the field of the protection of children's rights, especially of unaccompanied refugee children / identified without legal representatives.
11) Examining and preparing responses to requests received from the Government, Parliament, Presidency, local public administration authorities, authorities, institutions and organizations from the Republic of Moldova and abroad, with reference to the protection of children's rights, especially of unaccompanied refugee / identified children without legal representatives.
12) Examination of petitions regarding the protection of children's rights, especially of unaccompanied refugee / identified children without legal representatives.
