Procurement of one industrial diesel power generator with power rating of 275 - 300 kVA and three industrial diesel power generators, each with a power rating 35 - 40 kVA capacity

The German Development Cooperation through GIZ is announcing a tender for the procurement of one industrial diesel power generator with power rating of 275 - 300 kVA and three industrial diesel power generators, each with a power rating 35 - 40 kVA, for local public administrations, mayoralty of Soroca, Ocnita and Otaci partner municipalities, within its “WASSER Project – Support in mitigating war-related impacts for water supply and sanitation in the border region of Moldova and Ukraine”.

The provider shall ensure delivery and commissioning of goods to:

• mayoralty of Soroca municipality storehouse (water pump station, water storage reservoir no. 3, MD-3001, Soroca rayon, Soroca town, no 10 Miron Costin street), as well as training on its use and maintenance;
• mayoralty of Ocnita town storehouse (water pump station, MD-7100, Ocnita rayon, the area outside of built-up zone of Ocnita town), as well as training on its use and maintenance;
• mayoralty of Otaci town storehouse (water pump station no 2, MD-7106, Ocnita rayon, Otaci town, no 2 Prieteniei street, ME ”Gospodăria Locativ-Comunală Otaci”), as well as training on its use and maintenance.

Interested bidders are required to submit the following set of documents:

• Offer (duly signed and stamped), calculated in MDL at 0% VAT and goods delivery time;
• Certificates of origin for the goods offered;
• Short description/overview of the company experience and qualification;
• Contact information for the bidder and responsible person;
• Bank data including bank name, bank code and IBAN MDL;
• Copy of company registration certificate (registration in the Republic of Moldova), as well as other related licenses and permissions;
• No-debt certificate from the Moldovan State Inspection or copy of the latest financial report.

The company is expected to meet the following requirements:  

• Capacity to supply the required equipment in accordance with the technical specifications and within the deadline desired;
• Ability to provide the 24-month warranty as requested in the tender specifications and ensure a qualified technical service within the country.

Tenders must be submitted electronically to MD_Quotation@giz.de no later than 16 November 2026 at 17:00 (local time).

The subject line of the email must state “Tender No. 10063813”.

Each tender must be submitted in one (1) email containing one (1) ZIP folder with all required tender documents.

Please note that applications received after the deadline, as well as incomplete applications will not be considered. Financial offers containing other currency than Moldovan Lei, will not be considered. GIZ retains the discretion to re-advertise or cancel this tender.
