The German Development Cooperation through GIZ is looking for an event management company to support the organization of the EU4Moldova: Local Communities Programme Closing Gala, within its “Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova” project.
The selected provider will conduct all the activities in accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Reference (ToR).

The objective of this assignment is to engage the services of an event management company to support the organization of the EU4Moldova: Local Communities Programme Closing Gala. The event will take place during the first week of November. The exact date is to be decided later in time.
To achieve the objective, the expert shall perform the following tasks:
- Develop a detailed description of activities, necessary equipment and consumables.
- Coordinate the logistical details for the event, including booking the translation, catering, moderator, technical equipment, photo and video services, etc.
- Produce visibility materials.
- Provide professional moderation of the event.
- Ensure the running of the presentations, films, backgrounds etc.
- Provide all necessary furniture and technical equipment for the event’s organisation.
- Organize a photo exhibition with two installation phases (indoor during the Gala event and outdoors for public viewing).
- Ensure event management services during and after the event.
- Ensure at least one skilled, committed, and reliable backstopping person. The person shall be in direct contact with GIZ responsible for the event, to coordinate activities and troubleshooting force-majeure situations.
- Produce a final report of the event.
The tender is open to private companies, resident in the Republic of Moldova, established and operating in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
Offers must be prepared in English or Romanian.
Proposals must be submitted in two parts, consisting of:
- Part 1: Technical offer (separate envelope), that should describe in detail how the Offeror intends to carry out the Term of Reference (ToR) for the development of requested deliverables.
The technical offer should also include the profile of the company and the registration certificate in the Republic of Moldova
- Part 2: Financial offer (separate envelope), detailed budget according the TOR expressed in Moldovan Lei, VAT 0.
Bids evaluation will be performed based on the ratio 70% for the technical offer and 30% for the financial offer.

Applications shall be delivered in sealed envelopes (physical form), showing the tender number (83497224) and subject on it, to the address of GIZ Office Chisinau (73/1 Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Boulevard, NBC building; 9th floor, Chisinau) not later than 18.09.2025 time 15:00.
Please note that applications received after the deadline, as well as incomplete applications will not be considered. Financial offers containing other currency than Moldovan Lei, will not be considered. GIZ retains the discretion to re-advertise or cancel this tender.
