The Moldova Energy Security Activity (MESA), funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Tetra Tech ES, Inc. is working to strengthen Moldova’s energy security by: (1) advancing physical and market integration of the Moldovan energy sector with Europe; (2) increasing renewable energy integration; and (3) increasing investment in energy efficiency and domestic power generation, particularly through increased adoption of renewable energy technologies (4) deploying technology solutions and equipment to increase resilience of Moldova’s power system and (5) deploy critical flexibility assets for frequency control reserves (FCR) and automatic frequency restoration reserves (aFRR) that will increase the reliability and stability of Moldova’s transmission system.
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit quotations to procure IT equipment for a Moldovan energy institution as described in Attachment A – Technical Specification for Moldova Energy Security Activity (MESA) of the RFP-MESA-2024-023.
