United Nations Development Programme, hereby referred to as UNDP, through Supporting the Moldovan authorities in the sustainable management of the Dniester River Project, hereby invites prospective proposers to submit a proposal for The implementation of the Eco Media Academy capacity development program for young aspiring journalists and/or communication specialists, in accordance with the General Conditions of Contract and the Terms of Reference as set out in this Request for Proposal (RFP)
The present assignment has four inter-related objectives as follows:
1. Design a Capacity Development Programme for the young aspiring journalists and/or communication specialists, who are studying at universities from Chisinau, Balti, Cahul,Comrat and Tiraspol;
2. Implement the Capacity Development Programme to increase the knowledge of the young aspiring journalists and/or communication specialists on environmental protection;
3. Organize a 2-days mini-expedition on the Dniester River, including hiking and practical activities;
4. Organize creative contest among junior environmental journalists;
5. Organize an awarding event of the participants and winners.
