1. Background
The OPTIM Project – “Opportunities through Technologies and Innovation in Moldova” – is a market systems development (MSD) project aiming at contributing towards the creation of improved economic opportunities for Moldovan women and men, with a particular focus on excluded groups, through addressing the constraints of the economy in a sustainable and inclusive manner. OPTIM is a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation in Moldova.
As the project activities involve considerable online work and producing and sharing important documents, proper functioning of the internal information system, both software and hardware, is vital. In this regard, HSI in Moldova is looking for a service provider to offer maintenance service to the internal information system and periodically assist team members on IT issues (hardware/software).
2. Objective of contract
The objective of this contract is to obtain reliable and timely support in technical assistance for OPTIM’s IT system.
3. Expected results:
- All internal hardware and software are properly functional;
- The relevant software packages are installed, constantly updated, and functional;
- Peripheral devices work without problems.
4. Main tasks and activities:
During the execution of the contract, the Provider will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Hardware and software support;
- Network Infrastructure Management;
- Installation, configuration, administration and monitoring of ICT equipment and services;
- Ensure all necessary measures to remove IT incidents and minimize their impact;
- Cybersecurity services;
- Monthly maintenance services for office IT equipment;
- Communicate and coordinate with Helvetas Head Office IT Department when required.
Requirements:
- Legal entity registered in the Republic of Moldova;
- Proven expertise in providing IT maintenance and support services;
- Experience with Microsoft cloud solutions (Azure and MS365) in a professional environment;
- Good English skills (oral and written).
5. Time frame of the assignment
One year with the possibility of an extension.
