UNICEF Moldova is looking for an agency to conduct a qualitative national perception study on attitudes and beliefs related to COVID-19 vaccine acceptance in the Republic of Moldova.

Objective: The purpose of this consultancy is to assess the root causes of vaccine hesitancy, attitudes, beliefs, barriers and motivators regarding COVID-19 vaccine to create an effective and equitable social marketing initiative and adjust communication messages.   

The focus of this analysis will be to understand the citizen’s perception and key drivers from the social and cultural context of the population, on the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccine and information sources. Key informant interviews will inform the development and adjustment of key messages to enable vaccine recipients to make informed and evidence-based decisions.

Qualifications and experience:       

  • Strong record and 5 years of work experience in conducting perception surveys, and producing public awareness opinion research and reports;
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate research findings to diverse audience;
  • Previous work with UNICEF or other development agencies in a similar area is desirable.
