The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, hereinafter referred to as “WBG”, invites Expressions of Interests from Firms interested to participate in the selection for the implementation of an Integrated Food Safety Information Management System  (IFSIMS) for the Republic of Moldova.

The Moldova Investment Climate Reform Project (Moldova ICR), implemented by IFC, aims to increase the private sector’s market competitiveness and agriculture exports and supports opening access to EU markets for Moldovan products of animal origin, particularly eggs, poultry, and dairy products. The Project assists the National Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Moldova (ANSA) to comply with EU requirements in the area of animal identification and health and food safety in general, and one key instrument for securing such compliance is an integrated food safety information management system, which needs to be established.

The assignment requires implementing the IFSIMS by upgrading and integrating the current ANSA software (AITS, MSVM, and LIMS) and developing IFSIMS public interface and IFSIMS mobile application. The contractor’s objective will be to implement the IFSIMS, including planning, design, software development, deployment, training, and post-implementation maintenance and support, carried out according to the agile project management approach.

The IFC invites interested bidders to request the Request for Proposal (RFP) package by sending an email to signatiuc@ifc.org. The IFC will send the RFP package to all interested bidders on Thursday, November 5, 2020. The instructions for the preparation of the proposals are provided in the RFP.

The IFC must receive proposals on or before December 4, 2020, 4 PM Eastern Time. Offerors are responsible for ensuring that the Corporate Procurement has received their proposal by the due date and time. Proposals received by the Corporate Procurement after the due date and time may be rejected.
