Background:
The International Republican Institute (IRI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, organization dedicated to advancing freedom and democracy worldwide. Since 1983, IRI has worked to develop democratic institutions and ideals, carrying out a variety of international programs to promote freedom, self-government and the rule of law worldwide. IRI provides technical assistance in the areas of political party strengthening, developing civic institutions and open elections, promoting democratic governance and advancing the rule of law.
IRI’s work in Moldova is geared toward developing the capacity of political parties—with specific focus on internal structures and processes, financial compliance and outreach to voters. IRI’s programming seeks to strengthen the ability of political leaders to organize themselves and effectively communicate and represent the Moldovan citizens. In order to achieve this, IRI will provide trainings on a range of subjects. IRI-Moldova is seeking to contract with local, regional and international experts to serve as trainers, facilitators, and consultants for our various programming activities and events. All contractors will report to and work in close collaboration with IRI-Moldova program staff who oversee our various programs.
Period of Performance:
The period of the contract will vary depending on the need. In some instances, IRI may opt to sign long term contracts. In other instances, bidders will be contacted for a specific training or project. Bids provided should be valid within until March 2021, with different rates for different periods of time listed as appropriate.
