Venue for the Public Presentation of the Study „The Minimum Subsistence Level and the Living Wage in the Republic of Moldova"

Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, in cooperation with the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM), will organize the public presentation of the study on the minimum subsistence level and the living wage in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, on 7 October 2026, on the occasion of the World Day for Decent Work.

The event will bring together representatives of public authorities, the Parliament, the diplomatic corps, international organizations, trade unions, employers' associations, academia, think tanks, civil society organizations, and the media to discuss the findings of the study and the policy options for reforming the methodology of the minimum subsistence level in the Republic of Moldova.

The event will run from 09:00 to 13:30. The venue shall be available from 08:00, to allow for technical set-up before the arrival of participants.

In this context, the Foundation is searching for a venue that will meet the following requirements:

• The venue shall be able to host up to 80 participants in seated format from 08:00 to 13:30;
• The venue shall be situated in a central location with easy access for all participants;
• High-quality audio-visual equipment shall be available, including a projector and screen suitable for the presentation of charts and statistical data, microphones for a panel of up to six speakers, and microphones for questions from the audience;
• The venue shall allow for the installation of simultaneous interpretation equipment provided by a third party;
• The venue shall allow catering services to be arranged separately by the organizers;
• A separate reception area shall be available for registration and for the display of printed publications;
• Conditions shall allow for media coverage, including space for filming and photography, and a stable internet connection suitable for live streaming;
• Adequate restroom facilities, including accessibility features for disabled participants;
• Adequate parking facilities and proximity to public transportation.

Bidders are requested to indicate the rental cost for the full duration of the event, specifying separately any additional charges for audio-visual equipment, technical assistance, and the use of the reception area.

Evaluation Criteria

The proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Venue's location, facilities, technical capacity, and access;
• Overall cost-effectiveness.
