Improving living conditions of vulnerable populations, people with disability, ethnic minorities and refugees from Ukraine by accessible social services in Day Care Center in Chisinau.
The basic achievements of the project are - increase social cohesion in our community, accept to social services, humanitarian aid.
During the project
1. Over 50 vulnerable people, people with disability (PWID), refugees and their families benefited of rapid
assistance (food, hygiene products, medicines)
2. Over 30 PWID and their family members benefited of comprehensive specialized assistance though ‘day
care center” service. (Art therapy master classes, psihological support, music, gardening, social kitchen, psychological games,
attractive games, others)
3. Creating a favorable psychological environment, social inclusion, visiting attractions.
Project activities will increase social cohesion, working with an art therapist in a group and a
joint creative process helps to build trust and interpersonal bonds.
Thanks to the work with the psychologist that is planned in the project (group games, opportunities to reveal ourselves,
remove fears), we expect to increase social cohesion, since the projects we have previously implemented,
(such as the social kitchen, psychological trainings, music classes) showed us how much the level of social
cohesion grows when people are united by a common cause.
This project will be realize by involving all members of community and activities in this project
will strength the relationships and the sense of solidarity among members of a community.
The success of one’s community depends on how connected the citizens are and how they are
willing to participate in all the projects and activities of their area. As members of society, our organization
has to cooperate and share our ideas with the other members to create more ways to achieve the
community’s goals.
It’s always up to us to enrich our community for the better. We must amplify not only
our voices but also of those disadvantaged to be heard. In the end, cooperation and collaboration is still the
key to build a strong and prosperous society.
