Dear book lovers,
On September 24, 4.30 PM, America House Chisinau invites you to an extraordinary book club meeting.
For this special meeting, America House’s guest speaker, Erin Devlin, the Vice-Consul of the U.S. Embassy to Moldova, will share her favorite book: “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer, a story about Indigenous wisdom, scientific knowledge, and the teachings of plants. Participants will learn how the mind, body, and spirit are connected and mutually dependent.
Everyone is invited to prepare a 3-minute speech about their favorite book! Please bring the book with you if possible!
The event will be on-site, at our office situated on Mitropolit Bănulescu Bodoni 27 str., mun. Chișinău.
