Cultural tourism is a great way to find out more about a country’s folklore, performing arts, festivals, cultural events, different historic sites and monuments.

On March 11, at 17.00,  America House Chisinau is organizing a live session with Tatiana Lupascu, Tour Guide and WFTGA Accredited National Trainer, who will talk about Martisor, a cultural practice inscribed on the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list by UNESCO as well as other cultural practices and elements marking the authenticity of the Moldovan people, such as traditional costumes, Moldovan carpets, traditional crafts, and folk music.

“Discover Moldova” is a series of six events delivered on a monthly basis starting January, organized by America House Chisinau in partnership with ANTRIM, presenting the various touristic sites across Moldova.
