Online workshop | Ethics and safety while reaching beneficiaries

Upgrade your skills and gain new competences for yourself as a volunteer, as well as for your organisation by joining our training sessions!

We offer 2 online training programmes:

✅ Ethics and safety while reaching beneficiaries October 31, 10:00 - 13:30
✅ The art of communication, November 4, 17:00 - 20:30

Organisations and volunteers who are emotionally supporting people in a crisis, need extra knowledge and resilience. After the training course you will know:
✅ Do people experience emergencies and pandemics similarly?
✅ When volunteers should help and when leaving something out of the volunteer’s scope is still compliant with ethical principles?
✅ How far SARS-CoV-2 spreads when you sneeze?
✅ In which places the virus is spreading the most and why?
✅ How can you help others during the pandemic safely? 

The educational program consists of:
✅ Online workshop / October 31, from 10:00 to 13:30
✅ Three modules and discussions
✅ Knowledge self-assessment

The programme will be moderated by:
✅ Zane Linde-Ozola, Assistant Professor, Department of Anthropology, University of Latvia 
✅ Aija Vilde, Medical Doctor, Infectious Diseases Specialist

Working language: English
All training sessions will be conducted in Zoom.
