America House Chisinau is inviting highschool and university students aged 18 - 24, to participate in an essay contest on the topic : “The Future of International Education”.

Feel free to address these topics or come up with new ones:

- How do you see the future of international education?
- Do you think institutions will offer more on-site or online classes?
- How will educational institutions adjust the curricula to the needs of the global economy?
- Do you think English will still be a popular language for international education or will it be replaced by other wide-spread languages?
- Will students prefer big international universities or local national ones?
- What facilities will educational institutions offer in the future?

Evaluation criteria of essay writing contest:

* Relevance – connection, significance of the issue being discussed.
* Originality and creativity – uniqueness, novelty and authenticity of ideas.
* Comprehensiveness – how complete and detailed the writer's exposition of the topic.
* Insights – a fresh way of looking at things, critical point of view of the subject.

Please do not write more than 3000 characters excluding spaces (your essay should be around 2 pages)! The font should be Times New Roman in size 12. The essays will be sent in PDF format at : americahousemd@gmail.com

Deadline : November 30th.

The three best essays will be announced on the 7th of December. The authors of these essays will be rewarded with gifts!
