CRS in Moldova & Ukraine
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has expanded its operations in Moldova and Ukraine since 2022, reaching more than 500,000 people with emergency, recovery, and development assistance. Programs have addressed shelter and infrastructure, winterization support, food and basic needs, education for displaced children, livelihood restoration, protection services, and care reform, while also strengthening local partners and leadership to ensure long‑term impact.
In Ukraine, CRS partners with Caritas Ukraine (CUA) to implement a U.S. Department of State‑funded program delivering multi‑sector aid to war‑affected communities. CRS provides technical support across program management, monitoring and evaluation, grants and compliance, operations, and risk management. Oversight is led by a Project Director with active involvement from senior management, regional and global advisors, and agency leadership.
Job Summary
As a member of the CRS Moldova Operation team, you will coordinate local procurement activities and processes to acquire goods and services in support of the delivery of high-quality programming to the poor and vulnerable. Your knowledge and experience will allow you to successfully coordinate the quality and efficiency of procurement and purchasing activities and ensure stewardship, integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Required Languages - Spoken proficiency in English and Romanian/Russian required.
Travel – Occasional travel may be requested; including travel to visit and support the CRS office in Ukraine
