CRS in Moldova & Ukraine:
CRS has operated in different capacities in Moldova since 2004 and in Ukraine since 2017. CRS works with local partners to implement an integrated, multisectoral program portfolio of humanitarian and development assistance. In Moldova, CRS is focused on meeting both the immediate and long-term needs of Ukrainian refugees and vulnerable Moldovans, including through basic needs, education, livelihoods, shelter and durable housing programs. CRS is also working with governmental and non-governmental partners in Moldova to end the placement of children in residential care institutions, and to support children in primary schools to thrive. In Ukraine, CRS’ works in partnership with Caritas Ukraine and Caritas Spes Ukraine, to deliver life-saving humanitarian assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war.
Job Summary
As a key member of the CRS Moldova Housing for All team, and in close coordination with local partners, you will play a critical role in in support of Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) work to ensure all people have access to safe and dignified housing in inclusive communities. As a Senior Project Officer, you will facilitate the achievement of project objectives through coordinating and reporting on all project activities and providing technical guidance and advice to staff and local partners. Your coordination and relationship management skills will ensure that Housing for All applies best practices and constantly works towards improving the impact of its benefits to those we serve.

Required Languages: Spoken proficiency in English and fluency in Romanian required. Russian and/or Ukrainian a plus.
Travel: Include percentage of required travel, if applicable. Could be stated as Must be willing and able to travel up to 40 %.

Internal: CRS Programming and Operations team, partner team, MEAL team, Technical Advisors
External: Caritas Moldova, local and international NGOs, UN, Government actors
